| Our client is seeking to recruit a Offshore Subsea Engineer (Semisub and offshore experience) Location: Egypt Work Schedule: Contract Duration: Two year contract renewable Start Date: ASAP 1) Operateng and maintain the subsea and subsea related equipment in accordance with all applicable operating and maintenance procedures 2) Monitor and prevent oil spills from hydraulic operated equipment, power and sub-sea related equipment and repair the equipment immediately 3) Carry out BOP tests and drills in accordance with authorities, Client’s and Company’s requirements 4) Ensure that all reporting routines are folllowed and that all equipment related paperwork are carried out within his area of responsibility, such as maintenance records, updating of service and instruction manuals, instructing procedures, etc. 5) Be familiar with reporting routines regarding the EDP based maintenance system on board 6) Ensure that all orders and instructions received verbally or in writing are fully understood and adhered to 7) Be safety conscious in all his work and use compulsory protective equipment 8) Ensure he is familiar with all applicable work and safety procedures, and promote implementation of same 9) Ensure that before any work on high pressure system is started, a proper investigation is carried out, precautions have been taken and the work permit has been signed 10) Instruct all personnel assigned to him of their duties and responsibilities and of any special safety precautions to be taken prior to start up of any work 11) Ensure that personnel working under his supervision as well as himself carry lifevests and safety lines when working in exposed area or in around the moonpool 12) Promptly report all accidents, near-miss accidents, Non-Conformances and safety hazards to his/her immediate superior 13) Participate in safety meetings and safety drills held onboard 14) Carry out his/her duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan when needed 15) Ensure good housekeeping in his/her working areas To apply for this position please submit your CV accompanied with your notice period and approximate day rate or salary expectation in line with the current market.
