| Our client is seeking to recruit a Drilling Engineer. Location: Aberdeen Work Schedule: Contract Duration: 1 Year Job Description: Our Client is seeking a drilling engineer to work in our Platform drilling engineering Team. The role is to carry out detailed well design, well planning and programming and operations support. The DE will be assigned to one of our platform rigs. The role is Aberdeen based and would not require significant travel. Job Requirements: Drilling engineer should have well planning experience Experience with a range of well types and platform rigs desirable Planning and operations experience of both sidetracks and new wells from surface Experience delivering drilling programmes, AFE cost estimates, government submissions and other standard DE tasks Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams Experience with Landmark well planning software (e.g. WellPlan and Stresscheck) desirable Valid well control certificate To apply for this position please submit your CV accompanied with your notice period and approximate day rate or salary expectation.
