Our client is a leading Operator in the UK North Sea and they are seeking to recruit a Project Lead.
Location: UK, Aberdeen
Work Schedule: Contract
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

Ensure adequate risk identification and management plans are in place
Identify HSSE resource to ensure projects are consistent with the HSSE strategy
Ensure the Appraise DSP is completed according to MPcp/ SPcp requirements
Ensure desired cost, schedule, and performance metrics for respective studies are established during Appraise and Select stages
Ensure contracting and procurement plan is developed
Review technology plan and ensure alignment of technology options to meet project timeline and goals
Provide facility plans for various development options to meet the depletion plans
Complete the integrated evaluation for each viable option, fully reflecting the associated risks and uncertainties
Provide input to the Appraise Team Leader regarding updates on studies and progress
Set out clear options selection criteria
Select the base case from the option set
Work the selected concept to a level of definition suitable a robust Define FM
Initiate independent assessments of FEL
Initiate discipline reviews as outlined in MPcp/ SPcp Governance
Obtain approval of Select DSP/ Define FM

Technical Competencies:
Project Management
Economic evaluation principles
Understanding of subsurface/ subsea/ facilities/ HSSE and commercial disciplines
