Contract Manager Aberdeen Permanent Role
THE ROLE Our client is a well recognised service and repair organisation with a dominant position in its particular market niche. They seek to recruit a Contract Manager to create and lead the implementation of strategic plans for driving improvements in the reliability of the client’s installed equipment. The post-holder will be the senior point of contact for within the organisation for one of their larger long term agreements with an international operator and will have two subordinates to manage. They operate within a well established culture of continuous improvement.
DUTIES The Contract Manager will be required to; Effectively manage all technical & commercial deliverables being the leading interface between the Company and its client with respect to the planning, management and successful execution of repair activities. Devise and implement strategic initiatives to improve equipment reliability and increase revenue generated via the contract. Identify business process improvement opportunities. Actively contribute to the overall running of the facility as one of the senior management team. Participating in the on time delivery ‘Lean Sigma’ workshop and other improvement initiatives. Compile monthly reports (using SAP) updating reliability figures and monitoring contract performance.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Candidates should have extensive experience in a client facing role, perhaps managing a high value, time critical, contract for an engineering organisation. As the role will require some technical understanding of the products involved (rotating equipment), a minimum HNC qualification in an engineering discipline is preferred.
